We’re glad to announce that we will expand our production facility in De Meern, The Netherlands. Last month we signed the contract for building a new production facility next to our current production plant.
The expansion is part of the company’s growth, where we are increasing our business portfolio with new products to respond to trends in the market and meet the demand of our customers.
Next month we will start with the production of processed cheese. Processed cheese is real cheese with a small amount of melting salts. These melting salts give the cheese unique characteristics, such as a more controllable melting point, longer shelf life and a homogeneous texture improvement.
We will also start with the production of analogues, also known as cheese alternatives. Analogues are used as culinary replacement for cheese in various markets. Next to our regular assortment analogue cheeses we also deliver customized solutions for various applications within the food manufacturing industry.
